|
Seeking revenge on the evil Baldour, Alisia Dragoon is a master of powerful Thunder Magic and able to command fearsome monsters.
|
|
|
 
Dragon Frye, the first of Alisia's four monster companions, is a dragon able to breath powerful fireballs at the enemy.
|
|
|
 
Ball O'Fire uses itself as weapon, burning enemies with it's fiery body. This ability also allows it to collide with enemies often without taking damage, making it a powerful ally.
|
|
|
 
The Thunder Raven is the most powerful of Alisia's companions, able to attack everything on screen with a extremely destructive lightning blast. However, this power comes at a price, as it is the slowest of the four to charge it's attack.
|
|
|
 
The Boomerang Lizard lives up to it's names by firing boomerangs from it's body into the enemy.

|
Swarms of these insects fly past in the early levels. More powerful versions have a small projectile attack.
|
|
|
These fly past on the first stage and are little threat to Alisia.
|
|
|

This plant, found only in the forest o the first stage, regularly fires seeds into the air, which turn into mushroom-like things when they hit the ground.
|
|
|
Encountered in the early levels, these bats appear in large groups, but are slow to move against Alisia.
|
|
|
These centipede-like enemies move slowly on the ground of the first stage. When they are within range of Alisia they roll up and roll along very fast.
|
|
|
Found in the second scene of Stage 1 and in a few other places later on, these mages magically appear to hurl magical fireballs at Alisia. More powerful versions are able to throw homing projectiles.
|
|
|
A minor threat, these slow-moving slime creatures are easily destroyed.
|
|
|
Appearing suddenly to try and stab Alisia with their spear, these minions of Baldour can be problem if faced at the same time as other enemies. Later versions can hurl small projectiles too.
|
|
|
Haunting the ruined bridges of Round 1 Scene 3, these undead creatures appear to drop rocks on Alisia from above.
|
|
|
The Stage 1 Bosses are two of these guys, armed with a sword and projectile attacks, and able to teleport into the air.
|
|
|

These flytrap plants have their eyes on bigger prey than insects,; namely Alisia. Be careful not to use them too long as a platform, as they snap shut.
|
|
|
A small minor boss in Stage 2, this worm jumps out of the water at Alisia. Watch for ripples to determine it's position.
|
|
|
Another denizen of Stage 2's swampy terrain, these frogs are a minor pest.
|
|
|
Stage 2's Boss is this immense swamp creature. It can launch fireballs, frogs, or charge Alisia.
|
|
|
The lower part of the airship in Stage 3 is protected by these automated gun turrets.
|
|
|
The crew of the airship use hovering platforms to get within range of Alisia. Destroy them and use their platforms to reach the front of the airship.
|
|
|
These strange enemies climb down the side of the airship and will grab Alisia if she is in range.
|
|
|
 
The airships front is protected by this bizarre system. The creatures on the left hide and occasionally emerge to snipe at Alisia, whilst the fixed guns (middle) fire homing bubbles (right).
|
|
|
This worm burrows through the mountainous rock at the bottom of Stage 4.
|
|
|
These pteranodon-like creatures fly overhead in Stage 4 and drop rocks onto Alisia.
|
|
|
These living rocks roll at Alisia in the mountains of Stage 4.
|
|
|
This enemy poses next to no threat, and bears an unfortunate resemblance to a hedgehog.
|
|
|
This fire-breathing dragon is the boss of Stage 4. As well as fireballs, watch out for a charging attack.
|
|
|
Found underground in Stage 5, these green ball enemies cannot be destroyed, but blasting them briefly reduces their size so Alisia can quickly pass.
|
|
|
Another living rock, this enemy spins other rocks as a shield. Once destoryed it fires a projectile at Alisia, so be ready to dodge.
|
|
|
These rocks simply move up and down, and block Alisia's path through the caves until destroyed.
|
|
|
Stage 5 sees the appearance of these little dwarf-like enemies, who are able to fire little projectiles.
|
|
|
Similar in appearance to the dwarves, these enemies have the power to hurl rocks and fireballs.
|
|
|
This tank is the boss of Stage 5. Beware its cannons and charging attacks.
|
|
|

Stage 6 is full of robotic guardians, many of whom are asleep (left) until awoken, when they then use lasers against Alisia.
|
|
|

Scattered throghout Stage 6 are these exploding bits of equipment.
|
|
|
 
The second part of Stage 6 sees Alisia pursued by these mysterious blue enemies, which occasionally morph into the forms shown.
|
|
|
Attempting to stop Alisia's escape from Stage 6 are these zombie-like creatures, who are equipped with guns to fire at Alisia.
|
|
|

Sealed deep in the bowels of the ship, Alisia confronts this mage as the boss of Stage 6. Teleporting away from danger, the boss prefers to create guns which fire at Alisia.
|
|
|
Found clinging to the walls of Baldour's palace, these slime enemies are a minor threat.
|
|
|
This powerful magician is the Stage 7 boss, and is able to create mini-versions of the Stage 6 boss to fight for him.
|
|
|

Before Alisia reaches the top of the palace she must traverse a set of moving platforms, which are guarded by these automated sentries.
|
|
|
Stage 8 begins with a showdown with Ornah, Baldour's aide. A powerful magic user, Ornah will fight to the death to protect his master.
|
|
|
Baldour finally awakens after you defeat Ornah. Armed with many types of fireballs, his body must be destroyed part by part for Alisia to succeed in her mission.

Power-Ups
|
|
| | |
|
Winged Receptacle - contains items; destroy them to release the item.
|
|
|
Thunder Level Up - Increases the power of Alisia's Thunder Magic to the next higher level.
|
|
|
Potion - Fills the equivalent of one section of Alisia's HP gauge.
|
|
|
HP Up - Adds one full section to Alisia's HP gauge.
|
|
|
1 Up - Allows you to continue play even after Alisia runs out of Hit Points. You can keep as many as nine of these items.
|
|
|
Invincible - A Red Fairy appears, keeping Alisia safe from attacks. The protection is only good for only sixteen seconds, so take this item wherever it's available.
|
|
|
Thunder Power Max - Alisia's Thunder Magic becomes immensely powerful for sixteen seconds. She can unleash a rolling bolt, damaging all enemies.
|
|
|
Platform - Two Fairies work together to help Alisia reach levels she couldn't by herself.
|
|
|
Level Up - Increases the level of the monster currently selected, and adds one full section to its HP gauge.
|
|
|
Beef - Fills the equivalent of one section of the selected monster's HP gauge.
|
|
|
Revive - Brings all dead creatures back to life. The revived monsters, when next selected, start over at Level 1 strength.
