Note: The screenshots on this page were taken using the cheat mode, so Alisia's stats may seem strange. All stage names unofficial.
[ Intro ]
The game begins with this intro telling of Baldour's return.
Alisia then sets off in search of the Silver Star, which is presumerably Baldour's cocoon.
[ Stage 1 ]

Forest

The action begins in this forest, which is inhabited by lots of unfriendly creatures. Fortunately none of them are any match for Alisia's Thunder Magic.

Ruined Temple

Alisia finds her way into this ruined temple, filled with enemies and secrets. At the end she stumbles upon Ornah with Baldour's cocoon.

Cut Scene:

Ornah: You have done well to come so far, but you are too late. Our leader has returned to us.

(Fires magical dragon attack at Alisia, forcing her to duck)

Ornah: You have seen what power we possess. Do you dare to challenge us? Travel to our palace, if you think you can survive the journey!

(Ornah flys upward with Baldour's cocoon, causing the room to begin to collapse. Alisia escapes)

Ruins

As the room collapses Alisia emerges into these ruins.
[ Stage 2 ]

Swamp

The wildlife in this swamp isn't too friendly.
Alisia fights a large worm before continuing through the swampland.
This immense creature is the final boss of the stage. After finishing it off Alisia boards a strange airship as it is taking off.
[ Stage 3 ]

Airship

Alisia starts on the bottom of this strange ship, which is guarded by gun turrets and members of the crew on hovering platforms.
Next, Alisia must climb to the top of the ship and use enemy hover platforms to reach the front.
At the front she is greeted by the ship's final defenses.
[ Stage 4 ]

Mountains

At the start of this stage Alisia jumps down from the airship onto the mountains.
Avoiding rocks, Alisia then climbs to the summit.
At the summit she faces this dragon. After defeating it she makes her way inside a nearby cave.
[ Stage 5 ]

Water Caves

These water caverns have some beautiful graphics; unfortunately you'll have little time to admire them as you dodge attacks.

Lava Caves

As Alisia penetrates deeper into the caverns she arrives in this area, filled with lava and annoying enemies.
Finally Alisia emerges next to a wrecked spaceship embedded in the mountain. After dealing with this tank boss glowing lights reveal that there is still life aboard.
[ Stage 6 ]

Ruined Ship

Alisia starts at the top of the ruined ship, which lies at a 45 degree angle. This gives the level a very interesting design, as all corridors are diagonal, and holes and in the roof or ceiling are accessible. Although the inhabitants initially appear dormant, they soon wake up to make this a stage very challenging one.
Deeper inside the ship bizarre enemies pour out to pursue Alisia.
Alisia finds her way to the engine room, which suddenly bursts into life. She is then is forced to fight this powerful magician. After he's defeated she finds a hover platform and escapes.

Cut Scene

Alisia flies upward with the hover platform...
...Until she she sees Baldour's floating palace. She then flies toward it.
[ Stage 7 ]

Sky Palace

The palace is full of dangerous foes. Alisia slowly ascends, making use of her Thunder Magic to lower some platforms.
This boss attempts to stop Alisia's progress through the palace.

Upper Floors

The final test before reaching Baldour's chamber is this system of floating platforms, guarded by automatic sentries. The platform also regularly spin, throwing you off them to a lower part of the level.
[ Stage 8 ]

Cut Scene

Ornah: So Alisia, you have survived this long against our loyal army and reached our palace in the sky.

Unfortunately, you have arrived too late. Our leader has begun to awake from his long sleep. Once again, we have brought him to life in this world. Your life will make an excellent sacrifice to our leader when he awakes!

(Baldour's cocoon is slowly sealed inside a metal shield)

Ornah

Ornah tries to sacrifice Alisia to his master. Although many of his attacks are easily dodged, his magical dragon attack, first seen in the Stage 1 cut scene, is very frustrating,

Baldour

The final boss is the newly reawakened Baldour. His body is covered with various weapons, and Alisia must destroy them one by one to finish him off and avenge her father.
[ Ending ]
With Baldour & Ornah dead the magic that keeps the palace floating disappears. It explodes and begins to descend.
Alisia jumps out and plummets toward the ground.
Her companions appear.
And combine to form a magic shield which flies her away.
Alisia rides the Dragon Frye over all the stages in reverse order as the credits are shown.
She lands in Stage 1 and walks past cheering people.
Finally she is met by a wizard who shakes her hand.
