Outsider! - By Gavin Mitchell

YOU are Black Aria, an assassin skilled in the deadly art of Florentine fighting. But as the son of a powerful witch, you possess powerful psychic abilities that seperate you from the common killers that stalk the darkened streets of the Old World city of Altgarten. Deserted by your lover, you have returned to your deathly trade with a mission unlike any other you have faced before; the quest to find your father.

Outsider! is an all-new full length amateur FF adventure written by Gavin Mitchell. Taking the genre in a whole new direction that would not have been allowed in the official series, Outsider! has a more adult and cynical perpective of life in the Old World (FF purists, you have been warned), together a deeper, novel-like writing style. Black Aria, the fully-developed main character, has at his disposal a range of psychic powers, which you will need to master to reach one of the several alternate endings to the adventure.

Outsider! is currently in its second (Beta) release; changes from the Alpha version are hyperlinks between the paragraphs plus corrections. As usual feedback on this edition will result in changes being made to the next version. This version is HTML only; get in touch if you really need an alternate format.

The Trial of Allibor's Tomb - By Jeff Sinasac

The cruel magician Allibor may be dead, but his reign of terror over his former subjects continues:

"You who were my subjects in life, hear now my demands and answer them, or join me in death," the skull hissed. "My resting place has been desecrated, and I have awakened. My rule shall be as iron once more, unless you appease me. At the first of every month you will send into my halls a sacrifice, who shall wander my corridors until killed within. You who have dared to disturb me will now realize that Allibor is your ruler eternal. I shall not rest until one of your number can best me."

Jeff originally wrote The Trial of Allibor's Tomb when he was 13, but updated it when he was 26 to offer it as a gift to his younger cousins. He's now kindly allowed me to host it here at The Black Tower so many people can enjoy it.
